Mali and Morocco reaffirmed their commitment to deepening bilateral cooperation following high-level talks in Bamako between Abdoulaye Diop and Nasser Bourita.
]The meeting underscored a strategic partnership rooted in longstanding relations, solidarity, and expanding cooperation across multiple sectors.
The renewed momentum comes after Mali withdrew its recognition of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic and endorsed Morocco’s autonomy plan as the basis for resolving the Sahara dispute.
Both countries also announced concrete steps to boost ties, including increased scholarships for Malian students and eased travel measures, signaling a new phase of strengthened diplomatic and economic collaboration.
