Guinea’s environment and budget ministries have agreed on technical revisions to the Environment Ministry’s Medium-Term Expenditure Framework (MTEF) for 2027–2029, paving the way for its final submission.
The agreement was reached during a working session on October 14, 2026, led by Environment Ministry Secretary-General Dr Karim Samoura at the Ministry of Budget.
With the strategic priorities and sectoral programmes already approved, discussions focused on final adjustments to consolidate the ministry’s multi-year work programme.
The next steps include finalising action plans and confirming budget allocations for each programme. The ministry has been given several days to submit the revised document.
The framework is intended to guide the ministry’s spending priorities and resource allocation over the three-year period.
