Accra Met Awards 50 Fully Funded Scholarships to Ghana Police Personnel

The Accra Metropolitan University (Accra Met) has awarded 50 fully funded scholarships to personnel of the Ghana Police Service as part of its commitment to national development through strategic partnerships.

The scholarships, covering both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, are designed to enhance professional development and capacity building within the Service by offering access to quality higher education in disciplines tailored to meet its evolving operational needs.

A delegation from Accra Met, led by Acting Vice Chancellor Prof. Mrs. Goski Alabi, presented the scholarship package to Inspector-General of Police, Christian Tetteh Yohuno, during a brief ceremony at the Police Headquarters in Accra.

The event was attended by senior Police Management Board members and key university representatives, marking a significant milestone in fostering stronger collaboration between academia and national security institutions.
