Ghana’s President Mahama Unveils 24-Hour Economy Development Agenda

President John Dramani Mahama has announced the upcoming launch of Ghana’s 24-Hour Economy initiative, signaling a major economic shift aimed at boosting productivity, job creation, and inclusive growth.

The initiative includes ambitious plans to transform the Volta Lake into a central transportation and economic corridor, while decentralizing the overall policy to align with regional development goals.

Speaking during a multi-sectoral engagement at the Jubilee House, the Ghanaian leader confirmed that he had reviewed the final draft of the plan, describing it as a robust and actionable framework ready for implementation.
