President John Mahama has pledged to recommit to robust and more transparent leadership to ensure the country’s sustainable development.
The president made the pledge at a public event marking his one-year anniversary in office, following his victory in the December 2024 general elections.
He highlighted some of the progress made so far and emphasized the importance of accelerating policies to drive national development.
The event was held under the theme “Resetting. Rebuilding. Renewing.” It brought together religious leaders, senior government officials, members of the diplomatic corps, and other invited guests to reflect on the Mahama administration’s first year in power.
