Guinea-Bissau President Umaro Sissoco Embaló arrived in N’Djamena on July 24, 2025, for a working visit aimed at deepening relations with Chad.
He was received by Chadian President Mahamat Idriss Déby Itno, with talks centered on enhancing bilateral cooperation and implementing key agreements signed during Déby Itno’s state visit to Bissau on May 26.
The agreements span critical sectors including foreign affairs, defense, and trade.
Both leaders reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening ties and pledged to maintain regular consultations on shared concerns, according to the Chadian Presidency.
