ISIS Claims Deadly Attack That Killed 29 In Nigeria’s Adamawa State

The Islamic State has claimed responsibility for an attack that left 29 people dead in Adamawa State, northeastern Nigeria.

The attack occurred in the community of Guyaku, located in Gombi, where armed men targeted residents, causing significant casualties.

Local authorities have confirmed the death toll and launched an investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the нападение. 

State governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri visited the affected community and described the incident as “tragic and unacceptable,” offering condolences to the victims’ families.

In a statement, he condemned the violence as a serious attack on humanity and assured that reinforced security measures are being deployed to restore calm and protect residents.
