Liberia’s President Endorses Code of Conduct to Boost Government Accountability

Liberian President Joseph Boakai has endorsed a new Code of Conduct designed to strengthen government accountability and transparency.

The initiative, announced on Wednesday, includes the introduction of a Performance Management and Compliance System (PMCS).

Under this system, heads of ministries, agencies, and commissions will be required to sign performance contracts, ensuring measurable and ethical governance.

Akeem Akurugu a regional governance noted that, this landmark measure demonstrates President Boakai’s commitment to fostering integrity and enhancing efficiency within Liberia’s public service sector.
