Nigeria Secures $500 Million World Bank Loan for Rural Road Project

Nigeria has obtained $500 million in concessional financing from the World Bank to fund the Rural Access Agricultural Marketing Project – Scale Up (RAAMP-SU).

The initiative aims to enhance rural connectivity, enabling farmers to access markets more efficiently and improve agricultural productivity.

Funding partners highlight the project’s potential to boost economic opportunities, reduce post-harvest losses, and improve living standards in farming communities nationwide.
