The Nigerian Army has announced the elimination of at least four terrorists and the rescue of 20 captives during ongoing offensive operations in Alawa Forest, Niger State, and Hayin Nakwakina village, Kaduna State.
The announcement was made on Tuesday following successful ambushes targeting terrorist hideouts.
The Army confirmed the recovery of weapons and supplies belonging to the terrorists, including AK-47 rifles, two magazines, three motorcycles, a mobile phone, and machetes.
These operations are part of a broader effort to dismantle terrorist cells and curtail insurgency in the region.
In its statement, the Army urged the public to remain vigilant and continue supporting efforts to combat terrorism, insurgency, and economic sabotage across Nigeria.
