Prime Minister Ousmane Sonko announced the imminent launch of the Grand Water Transfer project, rural electrification and hydraulics programs, digital identity, the Dakar-Tambacounda railway line, the renewal of the freight transport fleet, and an agricultural cooperatives initiative.
Sonko also emphasized speeding up ongoing projects across key sectors including ports, highways, airports, agro-industry, rail, digital, and energy, while moving forward with other pending strategic initiatives.
