Senegal and Namibia have reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening their long-standing partnership, with Presidents Bassirou Diomaye Faye and Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah agreeing to deepen cooperation across several sectors during talks held Wednesday at the Presidential Palace in Dakar.
The discussions highlighted the robust diplomatic ties between Dakar and Windhoek and underscored both leaders’ intention to expand collaboration in areas of mutual interest.
The meeting took place as the Namibian president made a technical stopover in Dakar while en route to Belém, Brazil, where she is scheduled to participate in the 30th United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP30).
The engagement between the two heads of state unfolded in a warm and cordial atmosphere, reflecting the enduring friendship between the two nations.
