Senegalese President Faye Set for Diplomatic Visits to Togo and Liberia

Senegal’s President, Bassirou Diomaye Faye, is scheduled to visit two West African countries this weekend as part of his diplomatic efforts to deepen regional cooperation.

President Faye will on Friday, July 25, 2025, travel to Lomé, Togo, for a working visit at the invitation of President Faure Gnassingbé.

The next day, Saturday, July 26, he will be in Monrovia, Liberia, to attend the country’s national day celebration, following an invitation from Liberian President Joseph Boakai.

These visits follow his recent trip to Benin on July 15, where he held talks with President Patrice Talon.

President Faye continues to engage with West African leaders to build stronger partnerships, encourage cooperation, and support peace and development across the region.
