Chad and European Union Hold Third Partnership Dialogue to Strengthen Cooperation

Chad and the European Union have launched their third Partnership Dialogue in N’Djamena, aimed at reinforcing balanced and sustainable cooperation under the framework of the new Samoa Agreement.

The meeting, chaired by Chad’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Integration and Chadians Abroad, Dr. Abdoulaye Sabre Fadoul, brought together government officials and EU representatives to discuss deepening collaboration in key areas of mutual interest.

The EU delegation, led by Ambassador Przemyslaw Bobak, reaffirmed the bloc’s continued support to Chad, noting its humanitarian assistance of €134 million for 2025.

Dr. Fadoul commended the enduring partnership amid a challenging global context, highlighting shared commitments to multilateralism, solidarity, and state sovereignty.

The dialogue marks a renewed chapter in Chad-EU relations, emphasizing trust and joint efforts toward sustainable and inclusive development.
