Chadian Prime Minister Allah-Maye Halina has presented the government’s general policy program to the National Assembly as part of efforts to secure a vote of confidence.
Reappointed on February 4, shortly after resigning following the installation of the new legislature, Halina outlined a policy agenda centered on President Mahamat Idriss Déby Itno’s 12 key projects and 100 social action initiatives.
Addressing lawmakers, he emphasized a governance approach focused on results, pledging to strengthen justice and anti-corruption measures to improve public administration.
An operational framework for the government’s five-year plan has also been established to monitor progress.
Among the commitments outlined by the government, the Allah-Maye 2 administration has pledged to construct a new international-standard stadium, establish a national observatory for bilingualism, modernize agriculture, develop infrastructure, and enhance the professionalism of the defense and security forces.
