Ghanaians are eagerly awaiting the 2025 budget, which is expected to provide a detailed analysis of the nation’s economy and outline policy measures aimed at revitalizing and sustaining economic growth.
Finance Minister Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson will present his first budget to Parliament on March 11, aligning with President Mahama’s economic transformation agenda.
Minister of Communications Felix Kwakye Ofosu announced this at a press briefing following the first cabinet meeting of the new government.
He emphasized that the budget’s policies will be shaped by recommendations from the National Economic Dialogue, scheduled for March 3 and 4, 2025.
The first cabinet meeting focused on setting benchmarks for ministers, covering key areas such as security, continuous economic policy implementation, agricultural transformation, and overall economic stability.
