Guinean President Doumbouya Inaugurates New Toll Bridge to Boost Mobility and Tourism

Guinean President Mamadi Doumbouya inaugurated a toll bridge project designed to streamline interurban mobility and strengthen the country’s tourist appeal.

The inaugurated infrastructure was named after Doumbouya.

Located at a key crossroads, the bridge connects Conakry to the major tourist towns of Boffa, Boké, and Fria, aiming to improve intercity traffic, reduce travel times, and enhance regional attractiveness.

The Guinean National Tourism Office welcomed the development, highlighting its potential to stimulate local and national economic activity.

The project is part of a broader government initiative focused on upgrading infrastructure to support the growth of Guinea’s tourism sector.
