Ghanaian hip life star King Promise emerged as the biggest winner at the 26th edition of the Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA) 2025, clinching the prestigious Artiste of the Year title. The accolade marks a career-defining moment for the artist, who has consistently delivered chart-topping hits, sold-out concerts, and a refined musical journey over the years.
His celebrated album True to Self, along with popular tracks like “Slow Down,” “Favorite Story,” “Sexy,” and “Paris,” solidified his dominance over the past year and earned him widespread acclaim and admiration from fans and industry stakeholders.
The night recognized a wide array of talents across multiple genres. Notable winners included Joe Mettle (Best Male Vocalist and Best Gospel Artiste), Esther Godwill (Best Female Vocalist), Tulenkey (Hip Life Song), Kweku Smoke (Best Hip-hop Song and Rap Performance), and KiDi featuring Black Sherif for Best Collaboration.
