Hosted by South African President Cyril Ramaphosa, the summit gathers leaders of the world’s largest economies, alongside representatives from the European Union, African Union, and major global financial institutions.

This year’s discussions, themed “Solidarity, Equality, Sustainability,” will cover global economic resilience, inclusive growth, climate change, energy transitions, food systems, critical minerals, decent work, and emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence.

On the sidelines, President Tinubu is expected to hold bilateral meetings with international counterparts to deepen cooperation on regional peace, security, and economic development, reinforcing Nigeria’s position as a leading voice in Africa’s policy and economic agenda.

Following the G20 Summit, Tinubu will travel to Luanda, Angola, to attend the 7th African Union-European Union Summit from November 24-25.

The meeting will bring together African and European leaders, innovators, and civil society representatives to shape collaborative strategies on climate action, digital economies, infrastructure, agribusiness, manufacturing, and the creative industries.

Through these summits, President Tinubu is emphasizing Nigeria’s commitment to global and continental partnerships, seeking tangible outcomes that strengthen economic growth, regional stability, and sustainable development.
