Senegal’s Ministry of Justice will launch an annual dialogue with civil society organisations on Wednesday, 21 October, in Dakar to strengthen cooperation on human rights and good governance.
Established by decree on 1 October 2026, the initiative will provide a platform for the ministry and civil society groups working on human rights protection and governance oversight to exchange views and discuss shared concerns.
The initiative is intended to strengthen engagement between the government and civil society on justice, human rights and accountability.
